| | Dan Tisch, M.S., Vice President
Mr. Tisch is a project manager and leader with over 25 years of experience in research, planning, collaboration, facilitation, and communication of public policy initiatives to diverse populations. He recently joined BLH Technologies to support our growth in health and science communications, conferences, and outreach. He has managed health care, environmental and science-related Federal Government projects. He has managed multiyear, multimillion-dollar contracts and supported others. Federal entities with which Mr. Tisch has had experience include HHS' Office of the Secretary, Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), and Surgeon General; Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA); Administration for Children and Families (ACF); the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH); U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ); Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS); Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); and National Science Foundation (NSF). He has managed budgets; coordinated the production of camera-ready publications; worked with various segments of the production staff, including writers, editors, word processors, and graphic artists; recruited and interviewed health care professionals; and directed staff members as they produced and implemented national advertising campaigns. Mr. Tisch also has hands-on experience in helping to produce project materials, including designing and placing advertisements, designing and managing conference exhibits, designing and maintaining a Web site, producing the public comment draft of a major Federal health report, writing and editing scientific journal articles and reports, and writing proposal pieces and other marketing documents. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Brown University and an M.S. in Genetics from North Carolina State University. |
